Mangum Mayor extends the mask mandate until April 30, 2021

The Mayor of the City of Mangum, in direct consultation with the Greer County Office of Emergency Management, the City Manager and CEO of the Mangum Regional Medical Center, has extended the executive order mandating that masks be worn when in a public for an additional 45 days. The executive order specifies that masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be worn when entering into any building that is open to the public or when outdoors, in a public space, within 6 feet of another person. This order is in line with the guidance received from the Regional and State Health Departments as well as the CDC, that masks are an effective tool in reducing the transmission of this virus. The mask wear mandate is extended through April 30, 2021.
