UTILITY LINEMAN

Qualifications

•Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation

•Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and safety procedures

•Ability to locate underground utilities using appropriate equipment

•Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations

•Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

•Valid driver's license 

Responsibilities

•Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of IT infrastructure, including power lines and communication cables

•Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements

•Perform tree trimming and vegetation management to ensure clearance around power lines

•Locate underground utilities using specialized equipment and follow proper safety protocols

•Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards
