Scott Field Municipal Airport

Scott Field Brick Wall Sign with American Flag on a post behind it

The Mangum Airport, which was Ponder Field, was formerly located where the current Municipal Golf Course is, only five minutes away. Now the airport is known as Scott Field, located on the west edge of the city and, in 2003, was voted Oklahoma Airport of the Year.

In the background you can view the Wichita Mountain Range, the oldest mountain range in North America, home to the Quartz Mountain Lodge and Resort only 12 miles away. An excellent asphalt highway with a scenic drive will deliver you from the airport to the lodge.

The airport is located 2 miles West from the intersection of Highway 283 & Taft St.  The terminal Building offers drinks, snacks, restrooms and a well furnished lounge.
